Is anything sent while I am alive?
No. Not a call and not a text to your people. Messages are released only after your passing is reported and reviewed.
How does Still Hello know I have died?
You name one or two keepers: people you trust. A keeper tells us, with the date and what they know. A second keeper confirms. We then text and email you, and you have 48 hours to say you are here. After that, a real person at Still Hello reviews it. Only then are messages released.
What if someone reports it by mistake, or by malice?
That is what the checks are for. You are asked directly, a second keeper must agree, and a person reviews it. If anything seems wrong, we do not release.
Will my people be surprised by a call?
No. After release, each person gets one text asking if they would like to receive your messages. They must reply YES. If they reply STOP, or press 9 on any call, they are never contacted again.
Can I record my own voice?
Yes. Record right on your page in your browser, up to 90 seconds per message. Or type, and we read it in a warm, natural voice. A recording is always your own voice, never an imitation.
What days can I choose?
Birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's and Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, Passover, Eid, graduations, weddings, new babies, the anniversary of your passing, hard days, or just because. Holidays that move are worked out for you each year.
What if a call is missed?
We try up to three times that day, an hour apart, and never leave a voicemail. Missed messages are not left hanging. Press 1 when you answer to hear it again.
Can I change my messages later?
Yes, any time while you are alive, from your private link.
What happens when my package runs out?
Calls stop after the last message or the last year in your package, whichever comes first.
Is this a will or a legal document?
No. Messages here are words of love, not instructions about money or property. We do not allow messages that mention payments, links or account numbers.
