Terms
Last updated October 2026. Still Hello is run by SHORE AI LLC, Malibu, California ("we").
What this is
Still Hello keeps messages you write or record and phones the people you choose with them after your death, on the days you choose. It is a keepsake service. It is not a will, trust or legal instrument, and nothing in a message should give instructions about money or property.
Paying
You pay once, upfront, for a package. Each package covers a number of calls over a number of years. Prices are listed on our pricing page when you buy. You may ask for a full refund within 30 days if no report of your passing has been made. After that, payments are not refundable.
How release works
Messages are released only after a keeper you name reports your passing, a second keeper confirms (or your only keeper provides evidence), you have had 48 hours to tell us you are here, and a person at Still Hello approves. We decide in good faith and may ask for more information. We may decline to release if something looks wrong. Neither a date nor a missed payment releases anything.
Calls
Recipients must reply YES to a text before they are called. We call between 10am and 7pm in their time zone, try up to three times, and do not leave voicemail. We do not promise that every call will connect, because phones, networks and people are beyond our control. If a call cannot be delivered, we may be unable to deliver that message, and your package is not extended or refunded for it.
Your messages
You promise that the messages are yours to give, are kind in intent, and do not harass, threaten, deceive, ask for money, or include links, phone numbers or account numbers. We may refuse or remove messages that break these rules. Typed messages are read by a synthetic voice and are announced as automated.
Keepers
You are responsible for choosing keepers you trust. We rely on what they tell us, together with our checks.
Keeping the service running
We intend to operate for the full life of every package. If we ever must close, we will give notice and refund the unused part of your package based on the calls not yet delivered, to the extent we are able.
Limits
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you or your estate is limited to the amount you paid, and we are not liable for indirect or emotional damages. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.
